Walmart: Open on Thanksgiving Day
Do you live near a Walmart? If so, put down that slice of pumpkin pie and head over to Walmart on Thanksgiving day. Stores will be open around the clock from November 26 to November 27. One thing to keep in mind though : You can enter the store and grab your items early but the Black Friday sale does not begin until 5:00 a.m. Friday. So plan your schedule accordingly.
As you know, shoppers traditionally line up hours in advance of early morning store openings, waiting to score Black Friday deals. Analysts expecting even bigger crowds searching for holiday sales and deep discounts due to the slow economy. According to Walmart, it is taking a pragmatic approach, “simply letting bargain hunters come in and start shopping as early as they want.” The store also plans to manage the anticipated crowd by spreading Black Friday deals all over the store.
